Why Buy an Inflatable Hot Tub?

Lay-Z-Spa Palm Springs Hydro Jet Review 2016

Weather it is enjoying the Summer in your garden, relaxing with a glass of wine after a long week, or something fun for the kids, and adults then an inflatable spa is perfect.

Many people enjoy the relaxation and luxury provided by a Jacuzzi spa, but can’t afford to purchase one of their own. Traditional hot tubs can cost upwards of€1000 as a base price. Pair this with the fact that they often require a team of professionals to install and setup and the cost becomes prohibitive for many households. In response to this issue, some companies have created products to try and introduce a hot tub into the lower price ranges.

Businesses such as Lay-Z-Spa, Intex, and M-Spa now offer more compact, inflatable spas that can work perfectly in the garden. Offering numerous benefits that traditional hot tubs lack, inflatable options are growing in popularity and desirability

Pros and Cons of Inflatable Hot Tubs

We round up the reasons to buy an Inflatable jacuzzi and why it is a great investment.

Cost and Convenience

An inflatable hot tub makes a great choice firstly because of its cost, they can be up to 50% cheaper then a traditional style of hot tub. A few hundred pounds can buy you a popular hot tub, where as a traditional permanently fixed spa would cost in the thousands.

The initial appeal of an inflatable Jacuzzi tub is its price. Owning your own hot tub at a fraction of the cost is obviously a major perk, but there are other unique benefits to inflatable products. One of the biggest advantages is convenience.

Traditional spas are large and fitted in a single location. This takes up a lot of valuable space on your property, and is a permanent fixture wherever it is installed. In contrast, an inflatable hot tub can be blown up and utilized in different locations at different times. When not in use, it is easily deflated and placed into storage out of sight and out of the way. They are perfect for small terraces and gardens, and can even be used indoors during the cold months of winter. Inflatable hot tubs are also easily portable, so you can take your luxurious spa with you to enjoy anywhere.

Once delivered you can have your blow up hot tub installed and working in 10 minutes, it really is that easy, there are no extra parts to buy, no extra installation costs, it is very quick and simple.

Size & Portability

Inflatable hot tubs can also take up less space so are ideal for smaller gardens, or people who don’t want it to dominate their garden, where as traditional ones are more bulky and also permanently installed. Check out the Lay-Z-Spa Miami Inflatable Hot Tub Spa if space is an issue.

Inflatable hot tubs are easily portable, so you can move it around the garden to find it’s ideal spot, you can move it inside if you wish, you could also take it to a friends too! None of this would be possible with a traditional hot tub spa.

Everything you need

This is a one off purchase, it comes with everything you need, once delivered you can be up and running, or should I say relaxing in 10 minutes, it comes with the heating pump which is easily attached, fill it up and away you go. It is that simple.

Comfortable and Relaxing

One of the most important qualities of a hot tub is its level of comfort. At the end of a tiring day, you want a comfortable tub to sink into and relax. Many owners of inflatable spas note that they are actually more comfortable than traditional Jacuzzi tubs. Instead of rigid fibreglass, inflatable tubs are made of air-filled PVC which is a much softer material. The walls of inflatable models make for great headrests, and you can even purchase a cushioned lining to really enhance the experience. There are many features that come with inflatable hot tubs that make enjoying them very easy. Some models come with an adjustable timer that you can set to tell the spa when to begin heating. With this setting, you could program it to heat up before you get back from work, so you can walk through the door and get straight into a hot, welcoming Jacuzzi.

Energy Efficient and Low Maintenance

In addition to lower upfront costs, inflatable tubs also boast higher energy efficiency than their fitted counterparts. This is important to the customer because it translates into a spa that costs less to operate. Inflatable models utilize just a single blower and pump, which makes them cost up to fifty percent less to run. These savings go even further when you consider the fact that an inflatable tub is typically only hooked up and running when you are wanting to use it, instead of connected around the clock like a fitted tub. Adding to the cost savings is the low maintenance requirements of inflatable hot tubs.

Unlike traditional spas, inflatable models do not experience many leaks or blockages of tubing. Due to the PVC material, sealing is much easier than with fibreglass and makes these issues less likely to take place. Inflatable tubs are also very simple to access for maintenance, so you will not need to cut or remove any parts of your home in order to get to the area that needs attention.

Life of the Party

Having an inflatable hot tub in your garden is outstanding for hosting parties or gatherings. The addition of a blow up spa makes for a unique element to your home, and guests will love the idea of soaking in the water with a refreshing beverage in hand. Add in some music and great food and you have the makings of many memorable nights.

If you have the room then how about buying more than one! You won’t be able to keep your friends away!

Hot tubs are great for social events, even better with a BBQ in the Summer and then everyone in the hot tub, or hot tubs! If you friends buy one too then they can pop round as they are so easy to move around.

Popular Hot Tubs

If owning a personal hot tub is a dream that has been out of reach due to cost or inconvenience, an inflatable spa could be the solution. A lower price point coupled with higher energy efficiency gives you the same luxurious experience at a substantial discount. Inflatable tubs are easy to maintain and transport, giving you countless options for utilizing your spa. Blow up models also have much more diversity in their shapes and sizes, which gives you more options to suit your specific tastes. Overall, inflatable hot tubs offer relaxation as well as flexibility, and could be the perfect product to fit your needs.
