These are 6 of the best hot tubs on the market at the moment in 2021 and which ever you buy will be a great choice. When it comes to deciding which one you should buy it is important to think about where it will go and the room you have, if space is tight then the Miami is a great choice, if space isn’t an issue then how many people do you want it to hold, how much space do you want and what features do you want, lighting, adjustable jets, more air jets.
Our choice is the Lay-Z-Spa, a great spa, great size, works well and comes with fun lighting too.
Are Inflatable Hot Tubs Worth It?
Inflatable hot tubs are popular because in addition to being readily available, they are easy to use. One thing that goes undisputed about them is that they are cheaper than the in-ground built-in ones that are usually connected to a swimming pool.
Portability – the inflatable hot tubs come in a compact box not taking up too much space, they can also be packed away in the winter or easily taken with you, if you move house.
They are easy to set up – they come with an air blower that quickly inflates the tub. Once inflated, use a hosepipe to fill to capacity in just less than an hour. Plug an outlet, put the cover, turn up the heater, and you are good to go.
Robust – The hot tubs are made from strong and durable material. The reinforced vinyl material is up to 50mm thick, resistant to scrapes, but not puncture proof. You, therefore, need to be careful about where you set them up to avoid damage.
They are easy to use – the self-contained pump, blower, filter, and heater all have unit controls that help operate the tub with ease. The display status lights that show you how far to go with the installation should be your guide to prevent tampering with the make of the tubs.
Protection – The locking spa cover keeps your spa warm and keeps away dirt and leaving your hot tub ready to use at all times. The floating chlorination device keeps your tub clean and sanitized.
To maintain these advantages, always make sure that your inflatable hot tubs are completely dry before storing them away. Moisture can be a conducive environment for the multiplication of bacteria and other microorganisms. During use, do sit on the sidewalls as your weight can cause them to burst, and also be sure not to overfill them.
Ultimately, if you buy a cheap hot tub, eventually it will cost you more with the maintenance and the replacement that will come sooner than later. When you read through the pros and cons, it is easy to tell that the bad side of the tubs outweighs the positives.
To add to the list, prolonged exposure to environmental elements can cause the vinyl to deteriorate, causing tearing. Such kind of wear and tear is harder to repair than a standard puncture. However, with proper care, they can give you excellent service and help you enjoy your free spa moments, right from a place of your convenience.
Besides, it is a fun past-time activity that you can enjoy with your loved ones when you just want to relax doing nothing serious. A hot tub is definitely worth buying.
There’s nothing much better than sitting out in a hot tub, relaxing with friends and family. For those who aren’t ready to install permanent hot tubs, Lay-Z-Spa hot tubs are a great option. With four diverse models available, there’s a hot tub that is perfect for every family’s needs.

Capacity and maintenance
Different set ups come packaged with the size that can occupy a number of people. With space as the determining factor it can board 2-6 people with utmost enjoyment. Different type of Lay-Z-spa has its own way of inflating and maintaining.
All the available categories are either inflated by hand pump, electric and it takes about 15 minutes. On putting water ensure that the water can drain freely without damaging and stagnating around.
To keep your spa tub clean and fresh it requires to have an outlet. This ensures that the water pumped in remain healthy and clean from being stagnant thus inhabiting insects and other water loving organisms. They can be deflated and stored away at your convenience time therefor easy to manage.
Chemical compound of the hot tub should be regularly checked. It helps check and balance the required water components required like calcium, chlorine and controlling the alkaline of water. Many people sharing a spa calls for proper treatment to avoid spread of skin and other infections. This calls for shocking your spa by odorize to cleanse and sterilize the water.
Size
The first important to consider when you are looking for this kind of product is the size. Determine the number of people to use the product. Knowing the number of people to use it is fundamental because it can determine the efficacy of the product and it has its consequences as well.
For most people, it is better to go for bigger sizes. This is because if it is spacious enough, you can have a better spa experience. However, while it is good to go for the biggest, there are consequences associated with it as well. First, is that it can take more quantity of water. Furthermore, it could cost more in terms of heating the large water volume.
In addition to that, it means that it takes more pool chemicals. There are higher costs associated with larger models, but the fact remains that you will have a better spa experience with the larger models.
Shape
Another feature to consider when you are making your choice includes the shape. There are least two major choices available in the market, and they include the various square styles, and round shape. If you are the type that has space restrictions in your home, you can choose any of the square variations. Round shape is good for those that do not have issues with space. Consider the shape, as some of the models are sleek in addition to other fantastic features.
Jet types
Most importantly, consider the jet types of the product when you are making your choice. Many of such products on the market today feature a bubble jet. This is ringed around the tub base. Many people prefer the bubble jets because they can get the type of spa treatment they deserve.
For those looking for the best hydrotherapy, a high volume end tub could be the way out. This is good because of the superior features. However, you should know that there are costs associated with those fantastic features you enjoy. However, any money you spend on this clearly worth.
Features
Another factor to consider when you are making your choice includes the tub features. Usually tub features a heater and pump and without that, it can hardly deliver hot bath. Another important feature to look out for when you are making your choice includes the power outputs.
These products have different power outputs. Consider the various models on the market and compare their power out differences. It is important that you get one that can always deliver hot water and not a warm one. The issue of power output should be taken very seriously. It should heat and keep the temperature in up to 104F.
Power component is indispensable in this kind of product because it can translate to better and faster heating. Moreover, it can translate to better jet velocity. Look out for this feature when you are making your choice.
Other important feature to look out is whether it has hard water heating system. This should be in built. When this feature is there, you are going to have a wonderful and a refreshing experience. The spa is going to be very kind to your skin and you will be better for it.
There are some models with salt water system. The type of feature available determines the type of treatment to be given to the system.
Consider whether the tub has a timer. In some models, in the market, this important feature is available. This makes things easier for you as you can just set the timer to the convenient temperature.
Cleaning
Furthermore, it should be simple and easy to clean. The body should be such that you can clean it without difficulties and it should not be difficult to maintain.

Looking at some customer comments on Amazon – people say that the pump is noisy and if we have neighbours – which we have – they could be affected by the noise. How true is this? What can be done to remedy the problem?
Sharon
Did you review the CleverSpa Bondi? its specification looks better than the Lay-z-spa Paris but wasn’t sure which to go for.

Hi, I have a Lay-z-spa and it was great however after 2 years I need to buy a replacement liner as the non return valve for the air bubbles is a cheap rubber valve fitted into the liner worth about a £1 but Bestway deem this a non replaceable part. so they want £250 for a new liner….
Very bad design, the heat and chemicals are bound to perish the rubber. without it the water runs out…. great.
so they might seem good but will only last till the rubber perishes. if you buy one I hope yours lasts longer than mine.
